Altai Krai to be Partner Region of MITT-2014

As the exhibition’s organizing committee has told TRN, Altai Krai will act as a Partner Region of the 21st Moscow International Exhibition ‘MITT/ Travel & Tourism 2014’, which will take place in Moscow on March 19-22 of 2014.
“Being a Partner Region of the exhibition will no doubt strengthen the positions of Altai Krai on the international travel arena. To showcase the region’s potential the organizers have booked a 120 sq. m. stand for a large-scale presentation of travel companies, spa and resort objects, national crafts and ecotourism capabilities of the region,” said the representatives of the organizing committee.
One of the exhibition’s days will be declared Day of Altai Krai, during which various contests and games will be held at the stand, as well as the presentation ‘Travel Capabilities of Altai Krai’. Each year Altai Krai ends up being one of the more active participants of the event.
The topic of the year at the upcoming MITT 2014 will be ‘Meetings Industry (MICE) – Professional Meetings Management’. For the first time in the history of MITT there will be a special section of the same name, which will ensure quality meetings between the service providers and customers of the respective fields at the largest travel exhibition in Russia.
Alongside the topic of the year event there will also be Russian Meetings Industry Forum. Russian and international experts will cover a range of topics from the basics of organizing meetings and taking a creative approach in business to fund development and return on investment, as well as building cooperation with professional service agents.
Last year 1,852 companies from 198 countries and regions of the world participated in the exhibition, and during the four days of the event the number of visitors amounted to 73,765, with 74% of them being experts of the industry.
